Koranic inscriptions Qutub Minar 1202 A.D Height: 71.32 metres Delhi Stone minaret to the south of the Quwatul Islam mosque. Popularly known as the Qutub Minar, it was constructed to highlight Islamic presence in India. Construction was started on the Minar by Qutubuddin Aibak and completed by Firoz Shah Tughlak.
