In brief introduction I am a Canadian resident in Toronto, an architect by profession (M.ARCH Penn 1964) and now retired and a student of orientalism (and thus an orientalist) with a MA in Indian Area Studies, Art and Architecture from SOAS in London in (1972) where I researched the origin and symbolism of the Hindu Temple. Behind these academic activities I have traveled extensively in South Asia, mainly between 1964 and 1974 and have traveled in the Middle East, South Asia, East Asia, Latin America and Europe, and briefly in West Africa.
