Taken aback, as in a vision,
By gentle patterns of light
Filtered through the blinds
To settle artistically as a design on the wall
Of a dark room.
In an unconscious reflex,
I took the camera
And gave it a shot.
I wonder if the vision will materialise
In the concrete apparatus of the lab
Or will remain a half-forgotten
Vestige of the past
