POLITICAL DISCOURSE: THEORIES OF COLONIALISM AND POSTCOLONIALISM

A small social elite which comes into existence under colonialism. The nationalist bourgeoisie are educated in the education system of the colonizer, and absorb many of the assumptions of colonizers regarding what a modern society should be.
