In the small prayer hall of Masjid Kampong Holland, a big festival like Hari Raya Puasa sends the congregation spilling out onto the sidewalks and even the road!

Masjid Kampong Holland is the only mosque in Singapore with all its Friday sermons delivered in English. According to a mosque committee member, a quarter of the Friday congregation are non-Malay Muslims.

Exhibition is on at the Asian Civilisations Museum till 31 December 2002.
