Paul Tan has published two volumes of verse, Curious Roads (1994) and Driving into Rain (1998), both of which won prizes at the Singapore Literature Prize competitions. He was also the First Prize winner in the NUS Literary Society Poetry Competition for both 1992 and 1993. His writings have appeared in publications like The Straits Times, The New Straits Times and Commentary. Currently working as a broadcast journalist, Paul co-organizes the Forum Readings at the National Library.
