(for Ryan, not a fan of the Teletubbies)

Isn't it apt
that as the millennium
winds its breath

that we would find
such appeal
in four candy apostles

and all their babble
is message enough
for child-like tongues ?

But these are no prophets,
though they too listen
for a somewhere Voice
to unload a vision off their chests.

For they offer not tidings
from a God of Great Things
but a merchandising i-deal,
which we follow, like lemmings,

to Laa-Laa Land.
